Zachary R. Morgan

Zachary R. Morgan, 26, of Gladwin, previously from Whittemore, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 30, 2019. Zach was born on January 10, 1993, the son of Randall & Pennie Morgan in Saginaw. He graduated as Class President in 2011 from Whittemore Prescott High School. While in school Zach excelled at football, basketball, baseball, and track & field. After graduation Zach enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Zach was stationed at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. He was honorably discharged after 4 proud years of service. Zach moved to Gladwin after his tenure in the military and was employed for AAA for several years before taking a job as a general foreman this past year at Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC. When Zach wasn’t working, his passions included hunting, fishing, cornhole, & slow pitch softball.

Zach was a one of a kind. His smile would light up a room. His laughter and personality was infectious to all who knew and loved him. He will be dearly missed by all but never forgotten.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother: Pennie Morgan; twin sister: Chelsea Morgan; brothers: Chad (Amy) Morgan and Brian Morgan; significant other: Crystal Furgeson & children: Camden, Taylor, & Chase; very special daughter: Maddilyn; mother to Maddilyn: Kayla England; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, & nephews.

Memorial Services honoring Zach will be held on Friday, January 3, 2020, 1:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of service. After the memorial a luncheon will be hosted at the Sage Twp. Hall.
