Yvonne L. Corlew

Yvonne Louise Corlew, 74, of Gladwin, Michigan passed away at her home in the presence of her loving family on Wednesday, April 25, 2018. She was born in Gladwin on February 29, 1944 the daughter of David & Dorothy (Goheen) Smith. She was born and raised in Gladwin County and she worked for Saint Gobain in Beaverton. She was an avid nature lover and very much enjoyed the outdoors. She loved hunting and took great pride in her gardening. Her biggest passion in life was spoiling and making memories with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Her memory will be forever cherished by her son: Leon Corlew (Cindy Roe) of Gladwin; Theresa (Frank) Roza of Gladwin; Kim Corlew (Dan Roberts) of Gladwin; and her granddaughter’s mother: Sarah Good also of Gladwin. Her children blessed her many times over with 9 beautiful grandchildren and 9 precious great grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered by her brother: Jerry Smith of Gladwin; sisters: Carolyn (George) Corlew of Gladwin; Rose Smith of Gladwin; sister in-law: Shirley Corlew of Gladwin; several nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents: David & Dorothy Smith; brother: Ray Smith; sister in-law: Betty Smith. Funeral Services will be conducted by Elder Jim Henderson on Saturday, April 28, 2018, 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018, from 4-9:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan. She will be laid to rest at Butman Township Cemetery, Gladwin, Michigan.
