Wilson Morley

October 17, 1942 — November 2, 2023

Wilson Paul Morley Sr., 81, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2023 at his home. Will was born on October 17, 1942 to the late Paul and Ida Lucille Morley. The family moved to Chelsea, MI when Will was 3. Will graduated from Chelsea High School with the class of 1960. Will also attended Washtenaw Community College. He worked at Fortune Industries in Dexter. Will was a hard worker. He enjoyed being in the woods, cutting and splitting wood. He also enjoyed fishing, whether he caught anything or not.

In 1963, he married Olive (Snooks) Beeman. Together they had 3 children.

In 1978, he moved his family to Clare. He worked for Wegener Forest Products and Chris Muma Forest Products. When he retired, he took a year off, then went back to work as a janitor at Beaverton Elementary through Hi-Tech.

In 1982, Will married Katheryn Cline. They shared 41 wonderful years together.

Will is survived by his wife: Kathy; children: Maleeya (Scott) Postma and Malissa (Scott) Zimmerman; 8 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild with another on the way; brother: Eugene (Sandy) Morley; sister-in-law: Patricia Morley; 2 cousins: Janese Stevens and Storm Spellman; along with many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son: Wilson Paul Morley Jr.; and his brother: Ron Morley.

Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. There is no service planned at this time. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home. www.hallkokotovichfuneralhome.com
