Virginia Sherlock

Donald T. Sherlock, 78 and Virginia A. Sherlock, 76 of Gladwin, Michigan unexpectedly passed away March 1, and March 4, 2022 respectively. Don was born in Gladwin on August 13, 1943 to Merrill and Edith Sherlock. Virginia was born in Saginaw, Michigan on October 16, 1945 to Ray and Irene Younkin.

True love brought them together, and on her birthday in 1965 they were united in marriage. Gladwin was always their home. Don worked as a mechanic at the Gladwin County Road Commission, and at home, where he fixed anything he could get his hands on. He also served in the National Guard. Virginia was a stay at home mom and when she wasn't busy you would find her next to Don. They were inseparable and had an amazing understanding and love for
each other.

They will be missed by so many people; especially their daughter, Jennifer(Eric) Hansen and grandson Ryan. Virginia's brother, Don (Amy) Younkin, their families; Ben (Stacy) Younkin and family, Carrie(Jake) Hermann and family.

Gone before them are both of their parents, daughter Annie, and all four of Don's siblings; Jim, Barb, Jack, and Marilyn.

Honoring their wishes, cremation has taken place and arrangements are in the care of Hall Kokotovich Funeral Home of Gladwin, MI. No services are planned.
