Velma P. Hutson

Velma P. Hutson, 84, of Beaverton, Michigan passed from this world on Monday, August 7, 2017 to be with her heavenly father. She was born in Flint, Michigan on September 8, 1932 the daughter of Russell & Mildred (Gee) Longstreth. In 1950 she was united in marriage to Robert Hutson. He predeceased her in 1963. Velma was a wonderful mother and friend, and she was loved and respected by all who knew her. She loved and served her Lord for many years, fully trusting in Him for all her needs, and He was always faithful to provide. Velma never asked for more than she needed and was always thankful for what she had. Left to cherish Velma’s memory are her beloved daughters; Toni L. (Scott) Seipke; Susan K. Butler; Peggy J. (Jon) Valentine. Her children blessed her with 14 wonderful grandchildren; 23 beautiful great grandchildren; 2 precious great-great grandchildren; and 1 very special family friend: Mary Boivin. Velma is preceded in death by her husband Robert C. Hutson; daughter: Patricia E. Owens; her parents; 2 brothers; 2 sisters and 1 very special friend: Sisty Brubaker. Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place and Memorial Services will be conducted by Pastor Chris Slosser on Wednesday, August 9, 2017, 12:00 P.M., with visitation beginning at 11:00 A.M. at Beaverton Church of God, 3987 S.
