Tyler Matthews

Tyler S. Matthews, 28, of Midland, passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021. He was born on February 15, 1993, the son of Leonard Matthews IV and Lenna Mercer in Cadillac. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator for Waste Management. Tyler was a proud father of 2 children. He was always with a smile that would light up a room.

He will be dearly missed by his wife: Brooke Matthews; 2 children: Liam and Kylie; father: Leonard (Tina) Matthews; mother: Lenna (Ed Thomas) Mercer; brother: Mitchell (Carlee) Matthews; sisters: Tiffany (James) Zimke, Savannah (Luke) Wendle, Christina Matthews, and Charleigh Matthews; brothers: Austin Ulch, Andy Ulch, and Chad Thomas; father in-law: Curt Overly; mother in-law: Kelly Hintz; brother in-law: Cole (Anastasia Shears) Overly; along with numerous grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Life Celebration will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2021, from 3-6:00 P.M. at the Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Beaverton, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made according to the wishes of the family. www.hall-kokotovichfuneralhome.com
