Timothy “Tim” Hughes, 67, of Gladwin, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021. He was born on February 1, 1954, the son of Maynard and Nora (Downing) Hughes in Midland. He united in marriage to Denice Sweetman and they shared 28 wonderful years together. Timothy was also a proud veteran, serving five years in the United States Air Force. Tim loved mushroom hunting, searching for agets, handmaking walking sticks and almost anything that connected him to the outdoors.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife: Denice Hughes children: Tracy (Richard) Shupick, Adam (Suzette) Ahrens, Joshua Hughes, Karrie (Jose) Marini, and Brittany (Mancil) Hill. He was also survived by 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was also survived by his mother: Nora Hughes.
He is preceded in death by his father: Maynard Hughes.
Cremation will take place. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home-Gladwin.
