Thomas Pero Sr.

Thomas Pero Sr., 74, of Beaverton, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023. He was born on December 5, 1948, in Gladwin. He was united in marriage to Sylvia Thomas in 1973, until she preceded him in death in 2001. He later married Jean Alexander in 2006, and they have shared 16 years of marriage together. Tom was a painter by trade. He loved camping, especially at the Meredith Game Refuge. When he was cutting and splitting wood Tom would spend countless hours working in his garage. He was a father figure to many and always had his doors open.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife: Jean Pero; children: Thomas Pero Jr., Delphine Sharp, Hattie King, Richard Pero, and John Pero; grandchildren: Alexandra Pero, David (Danelle) Flemming, and Steven (Audra) Flemming; great grandchildren: Cole, Aleigha, Brooklyn, Brayson, Ryker, and Charlotte; sister: Pearl (Bill) Walton; step children: Orpha Rauff, James Hill, and Daryl Seder Jr.; step grandchildren: April Hill, Tiffany Hill, James Hill, Harley Hill, Dominic Seder, Katherine Rauff, William Rauff, Robert Rauff, and Cynthia Rauff; along with many step great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife: Sylvia Pero; stepson: Gary Richard Hill Jr.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, January 6, 2023, 1:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin. Visitation will be held on Friday from 12:00 noon until the time of services.
