Thomas R. Elliott

Thomas Robert Elliott, 69 of Gladwin, Michigan passed away suddenly at his home on Thursday, December 6, 2018. He was born in Saginaw, Michigan on September 19, 1949, the son of Robert & Eleanor (Duby) Elliott. Thomas was a veteran of the United States Navy, proudly serving his country during the Vietnam Era. He had lived in Gladwin County for the past 10 years, previously residing in Cadillac, Michigan. He was employed with GM in Saginaw until his retirement. His memory will be forever cherished by his life long friend Dorothy Elliott of Gladwin and their three children: daughters Tracey (Matthew) Pannill and Jennifer (David) Popps both of Gladwin; and son Christopher (Ardie) Elliott of Midland. He was a very proud Papa to his grandchildren Alexis, Ryan, Brenden and Vince and enjoyed baking all kinds of goodies with them. He also enjoyed watching the Red Wings, reading and of course music. He will be sadly missed by his brother and best friend: Ed Elliott and fiancé Carla; brother: Robert (Sue) Elliott; sisters: Brenda (Butch) Lagalo; Sandy (Kip) Hoffman; Mary Albertson; Connie Clark; several nieces & nephews. He is reunited in Heaven with his grandson Kyle and parents Robert and Eleanor. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place and Memorial Services with Military Honors will be conducted by Pastor Brad Withrow on Saturday, March 23, 2019, 2:00 P.M. at the Sage Twp.
