Susan Jane Kroll, 96, of Beaverton, MI passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022 at the Horizon Senior Living Facility in Gladwin, MI. She was born July 12, 1925 in Gladwin, MI the daughter of Joseph and Clara (Zimmer) Steele. On September 25, 1947 she was united in marriage to the love of her life William Kroll Sr. with whom she had three children. William preceded her in death in 1999. Susan spent her days as a homemaker for her family, some of her favorite activities were gardening, sewing, knitting and her two favorites were crocheting and feeding the birds.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Judy (Dennis) Boakes and Sharon (Ralph) Breault; grandchildren: Jeff (Renee) Boakes, Becky Tweed, Brian Breault, April (Cory) Barz, Mark (Kerri) Kroll, Lisa (Greg) Pollock and Dan (Jennifer) Kroll; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law: Doris Steele; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death are her parents: Joseph and Clara Steele; Husband: William Kroll Sr.; son: William Kroll Jr.; grandson: A.J. Kroll; and her brothers and sisters.
Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor Scott Bradstreet on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, MI. The family will be receiving guests July 5, 2022 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, MI. She will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, MI.
