Susan J. Garner, 67, of Clare, Michigan passed away at Mid Michigan Medical Center in Midland, Michigan on Tuesday, January 1, 2019. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 29, 1951 the daughter of Bernard & Mary (Skiba) Maruszewski. She was employed with the University of Michigan until her retirement. She had lived in Clare County for the last 18 years, previously residing in Pinkney, Michigan, and she was a member of F.O.E. Sanford Lake Aerie 3677 Auxiliary. Her memory will be cherished by her dear friend and significant other: Rick Patterson of Clare; her only son: Anthony (Christina) Garner also of Clare. She was truly blessed with 4 beautiful grandchildren: Anthony, Michael, Melanie and Danielle; 4 precious great grandchildren: Channing, Nevaeh, Peyton and Carson. She will be missed by 2 sisters: Karen Juchartz and Lorri Shaw; 1 brother: Bernard Maruszewski and several nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Bernard & Mary Maruszewski. Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor Brad Withrow on Friday, January 4, 2019, 12:00 P.M. with visitation beginning at 9:30 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Beaverton, Michigan.
