Stephen J. Petrik Sr.

Stephen J. Petrik Sr. 85, of Gladwin, Michigan passed away suddenly at his home on Tuesday, October 3, 2017. He was born on January 29, 1932 in Cleveland, Ohio the son of Stephen W. & Irene (Fedor) Petrik. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He married Frances Mary Martin in Manchester, England on February 14, 1953. She predeceased him October 6, 1995. He then married Eloise L. Larned on April 23, 1997 in Gladwin, Michigan. She predeceased him November 29. 2008 in Gladwin. He was a lifetime resident of Gladwin County and a member of the American Legion Post 171. His memory will be forever cherished by his daughter: Maureen (Wayne) Sheets of Beaverton; son in-law: Bill Roehrs also of Beaverton. He was blessed with 10 beautiful grandchildren: Bill Jr.; Wayne III; Angela (Dan); Jeremiah (Ann); Robert (Jody); Mike (Sara); Aaron; Stephanie (Kurt); Alexis (Mike) and Stephen IV; 8 wonderful great grandchildren and 3 precious great-great grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his sisters: Loretta Rzeszotardki; Kathy Charles and many nieces & nephews. He is predeceased by 2 wives; son: Stephen Petrik Jr.; daughter: Eleanor Roehrs; daughter: Susan Petrik. Funeral Services with Military Honors will be conducted on Friday, October 6, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Beaverton, Michigan. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 3-8:00 P.M. He will be laid to rest at Tobacco Twp. (Dale) Cemetery, Beaverton, Michigan. www.hall-kokotovichfuneralhome.com
