Stephen Leuenberger

Stephen Leuenberger, 84, of Gladwin, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023. He was born on September 18, 1938, the son of Herman and Mildred (Colbeck) Leuenberger. On September 22, 1962 he was united in marriage to the love of his life Sharon Hoskinson who preceded him in death. Stephen was a lifetime farmer, and owner and operator of Leuenberger farms. Along with his passion for farming, Stephen also enjoyed spending his time outdoors hunting and fishing and traveling. He spent his time in the winter skiing and snowmobiling.

He is survived by his sons: Greg (LaRayne) Leuenberger and Eric (Christine) Leuenberger; sister-in-law: Marsha (Bill) Simpson; brother: Herman (Joan) Leuenberger; grandchildren: Evan, Jessica, Cade (Colleen) and Keagan (Bethany).

He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Sharon.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, 1:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin. Visitation will be held at 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. He will be laid to rest at Billings Township Cemetery, Beaverton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to S.O.S. Animal Rescue at 2968 E Siebert Rd. Midland, MI 48642.
