Ryan Myers

May 1, 1987 — January 26, 2025

Ryan Joseph Myers, age 37, of Gladwin, passed away unexpectedly on January 26, 2025. He was born on May 1, 1987, the son of Joseph Myers and Lisa Chadwick. He graduated from Delta College with his Associate’s Degree in Applied Arts and Criminal Justice. After college, Ryan became a Co-Owner and Operator of Myers for Tires in Gladwin. He was the fourth generation to represent the Myer’s family in the business.

Ryan had a zest for adventure and the outdoors. He loved snowmobiling, visiting shooting ranges, and riding his bike. Games were another passion of his, whether playing during family gatherings or competing online with friends and family. Ryan enjoyed taking his RZR on off-road trips and looked forward to camping, fondly calling it “man weekend.” He cherished his time at Lake Avalon, his happy place, where he could relax and enjoy himself.

Ryan had a sharp sense of humor and a quick wit. With strong instincts and willpower, he approached life with determination and heart. Ryan had a nurturing soul, always ready to lend a helping hand to those around him. His generosity extended to both his time and resources, and he never missed a family gathering.

Ryan was the life of every get-together, bringing joy and energy wherever he went. He often showed up with Nerf guns and other fun toys, delighting his nieces and nephews, who absolutely adored their Uncle Ryan.

He is survived by his mother and step-father: Lisa (Rick) Parson; father and step-mother: Joseph (Betty) Myers; grandparents: Mike and Ann Chadwick; cousins: Meredith (Adam) Millsap, Josh (Cassie) Jarrard, Michael Chadwick, Tim (Rachel) Jarrard, Sarah Jarrard, and Bruce Mitton; nephews: Toby Jarrard, Nolan Jarrard, Benjamin Jarrard, Oliver Chadwick, Hudson Jarrard, and Jase Millsap; nieces: Darcy and Ruthie Jarrard; and aunts and uncles: Janet Swain, Jeff and Brenda Chadwick, and Jill and Craig Jarrard.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Ralph and Eleanor; and his uncle: Bill Swain.
