Ruth McDonald, 96, of Beaverton, passed away peacefully at home on December 19, 2020. She was born on August 25, 1924, the daughter of James and Rosetta (Reese) Heichel in Snowshoe, PA. Ruth was united in marriage to Don McDonald on November 19, 1947. He proceeded her in death in 2012. Ruth was part owner/builder of Spring Lake Country Club in Clarkston, MI.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter; Janet Goheen of Beaverton, 3 grandchildren; Dale Jr. (Dianna) Goheen, Kim Keeley, and Kelly (Butch) Hasenfratz, all of Beaverton. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by her husband; Don McDonald, her parents, 3 brothers, 2 sisters, son-in-law; Dale Goheen Sr. and great grandchild; Daniel Edward Goheen.
Arrangements are in the hands of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home-Gladwin. She will be laid to rest on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, 10 A.M. at Highland Cemetery.
