Roy McLeod, 84, of Gladwin passed away on Monday, June 3, 2024. He was married to the love of his life, Bessie, and they shared 57 wonderful years together. Roy worked hard to cultivate a garden every year so he could share the fruits of his labor with his friends and family. He was cherished by those who knew him for his love of baking. The highlight of Roy’s life was spending time with his grandsons, Steven and Matthew. Roy will always be remembered for his strong work ethic, integrity, and unwavering generosity.
Roy is survived by his beloved wife: Bessie; loving son: William (Susan) Clark; devoted daughters: Melody (William) Duncan and Iris (Steve) Rinaldi; treasured grandchildren: Brittney-Miles Clark, Joseph (Victoria) Stockman, Nicholas Stockman, Natalie Duncan, Steven (Rebecca) Rinaldi, Matthew Rinaldi; cherished great grandchildren: Presley, June and Casey Stockman, and Viviana Grace Rinaldi; and dear siblings: Linda (Randy) Thomas and Jim (Rita) McLeod.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Gene and Donnie; sisters: Kay and Judy.
Per Roy’s wishes, there will be no service. He preferred to be remembered as he lived.
