Rose Mary Myrick

Rose Mary Myrick, age 89, of Gladwin, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024. She was born on August 14, 1935, the daughter of Anthony and Margaret (Lewis) Karpinsky, in Wyoming, PA. She graduated from Wyoming Memorial High School and eventually pursued a career in Real Estate. Rose Mary owned and operated Oscoda Reality for 30 years. On February 02, 1957, she married the love of her life, Richard E. Myrick, in Pendell, PA. Together, they shared 61 years of love and cherished memories until his preceded her in death in 2018. 

Rose Mary was a talented cook, always blessing family and friends with her sumptuous meals. She also enjoyed traveling. As a military spouse, she embraced the opportunity to live all over the world, creating cherished memories and experiences along the way. Those who knew her recognized her as a tough business woman and yet a very kind and generous friend. 

She is survived by her son: Richard A. (Lisa) Myrick; grandchildren: Caroline (Quennton) Thornbury and James (Shelly) Burdeau; and great-grandchildren: Adeline Plonsky, Isabella Burdeau, and Scarlett Burdeau. 

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, parents, and graddaughter, Rosemary.
