Rosa Laclear

Rosa LaClear, 93, of Gladwin, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at her home. She was born on August 14, 1926, the daughter of Phillip & Dora Chubb in Ithaca. She was united in marriage to Hessel LaClear Sr. who preceded her in death in 1973. She was a homemaker and his lived in Gladwin for the past 25 years, previously residing in East Lansing. Her hobbies included her love for arts & crafts. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Harvey LaClear of Gladwin, Dora LaClear of Lansing & Hessel LaClear of Gladwin; grandchildren: Travis & Jamie McColgan; great grandchild: Gavin; sister: Viola Long of California. She is preceded in death by her husband: Hessel Sr.; son: James LaClear; several brothers & sisters. Funeral Services  will be conducted by Elder Brad Lower on Thursday, December 5, 2019, 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. She will be laid to rest at Rose Cemetery, Bath Township. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made according to the family.
