Ronald Ruppert Sr.

Ronald H. Ruppert, Sr., 78, died peacefully on January 1st, 2022 at the age of 78 after battling Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis and Lung Cancer. He was born February 27, 1943 the son of Harold and Oneta Grace (Oneil) Ruppert in Jackson, MI. On March 9, 1996 he was united in marriage to the love of his life Susie Leonard Woolley in Plymouth, MI. Ronald spent his working years as a math teacher at Belleville High School.

Ronald leaves behind his wife of 25 years, Susie Ruppert; daughter Tina (Jeff) Reese; son Ronald H. Ruppert Jr.; stepsons Robert (Jessica) Woolley and Christopher (Lisa) Woolley; as well as 8 grandchildren: Heather (Aaron) Barber; Holly (Drew) Schmidt; Travis and Josh Reese; Mitchell and Carter Woolley and Joey and Mikey Woolley along with 2 great-grandchildren: Sydney and Juni Schmidt and three brothers: Larry (Bonnie) Ruppert; Tim Ruppert and Jim Davis.

Ron enjoyed his family, his beer and friends as well as golfing every chance he could and bowling. He was a member of the Plymouth Elks and the Gladwin Eagles. No service will be held at this time, but a Celebration of Life will be held the summer of 2022 honoring his life. NO flowers please, donations may be made to any charity in his name if you wish.
