He was born on December 31, 1943, the son of Francis & Bernice (Millard) McDonald in Redford. On December 8, 1973, he was united in marriage to his true love Mary Rodabaugh in Farwell. In his spare time he was an avid woodworker. Many of us can still see his work on display located outside and inside the church located on M 61. He also enjoyed hobbies such as billiard and chess. He was always there for others. His friends would be the first to tell you, Ron would be the first to give you the shirt off his back. Through all of life’s journey he was more proud for his love of his family, being a devoted husband, father & grandfather.
