Robin G. Smith, 68, of Beaverton, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at his home. He was born on July 5, 1953, the son of Bernie and Jacqueline Smith in Brooklyn. In 1993, he was united in marriage to Kathy Foster in Louisville, Kentucky. They spent 28 years of marriage together. Robin was employed at Beaverton Elementary School and worked in the kitchen. He also worked for many manufacturing shops, semi-driving, train conductor, and worked on the railroad. He was always hardworking and like staying busy. He was an avid outdoors man and loved hunting and fishing.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife: Kathy Smith; 7 step children: Jerry (Rebecca) Crane, Georgina (Scott) Blanchard, Scott (Alicia) Crane, LaVere (Beverly) Sheppard, Duane (Melissa) Bioty, Calvin (April) Bioty, and Mark Bioty. He is also survived by numerous step grandchildren and brothers: Bernie and Mark.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
