Robert Weaver

Robert “Bob” E. Weaver, age 86 of Gladwin, Michigan passed away on May 27, 2022. He was born in Flint, Michigan on April 29, 1936 the son of Robert and Margaret (Middleton) Weaver. Bob was a veteran of the United States Army, proudly serving his country from 1953-55. He was employed with Buick Motor Division in Flint, retiring in 1996. He had lived in Gladwin County since 1999, previously residing in Mt. Morris, Michigan. He was a member of F.O.E. Secord Lake Aerie 4121, charter member and past president of F.O.E. Clio Aerie 3609, charter member of the Birch Run Moose Lodge #2426 and the charter member/organizer of the F.O.E. Carrollton-Zilwaukee Aerie 4413. After moving to Gladwin, Bob spent many wonderful years with the love of his life, Janet Davis before she predeceased him in 2018. They spent their winters together in Florida and also made many beautiful memories during their time on Secord Lake. Their companionship led them to many new friends and adventures along the way both in Michigan and in Florida. Bob’s memory will be cherished by his daughter: Terry (Richard) Felicioni of Ada, Michigan; son: Robert Jr. (July) Weaver of Arizona; daughter: Dorothea Weaver also of Arizona; son: Thomas Weaver of Texas. He was blessed with 9 beautiful grandchildren and 9 precious great grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his brother: Mike (Dawn) Bailey of Flint; Sisters Elva (David) Carey of Barryton, Michigan; Betty Quynn of Barryton; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his true love: Janet Davis; parents: Robert Weaver and Margaret Lincoln; brothers: David Bailey; Lyman Bailey; sisters: Roberta Cool, Ilene Tyne, and Barbara Miner.
