Robert V. Miller

Robert V. Miller, 69, of Gladwin, Michigan, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018, following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born on February 2, 1948, the son of William & Etta (Henne) Miller in Bay City, Michigan. He was a veteran of the United States Army, proudly serving his country during the Vietnam Era. On August 15, 1970, he was united in marriage to Susan Seebeck in Bay City, Michigan. He was employed as an engineer by I.B.M. in North Carolina until his retirement in 2013. He has lived in Gladwin for the past 10 years previously residing in North Carolina. Robert was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Gladwin, Michigan. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years: Susan Miller of Gladwin; daughter: Kristi (William) Gray of Virginia; son: Robert (Patience) Miller of Wisconsin; grandchildren: Haley, Emily, Karley, Kiersten, Bailey & Caden; brother: Ken (MaryEllen) Miller of Munger, Michigan; sister: Linda (James) Wolicki of Linwood, Michigan; brothers: William (Lori) Miller of Mikado, Michigan; Kevin (Stanette) Miller of Colorado; several nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents. A Funeral Mass will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
