Robert Raymond Hendrix, 85, of Wayne, MI, passed away on May 13, 2023. He was born on March 26, 1938. Robert worked at General Motors for 38 years. He enjoyed gardening, hanging with friends and family, and watching the fireworks on the Fourth of July. Robert was a veteran of the US Navy. He was also a member of the Eagles, Sitt Post and Moose Lodge.
Left to cherish his memory are daughter: Kimberly Hendrix and Roberta Ross; son: Robert Hendrix; Grandchildren: Shawn, Jessie, Robert, Jeremy, Roger, Steven, William, Joseph, and Kathryn; Great Grandchildren: Jeffrey, Isabelle, Donovan, Christopher, Nastashia, Jayden, Brianna & Canaan.
He is preceded in death by his wife: Georgann Hendrix; and brother: Sonny Hendrix
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 19, 2023, 1:00 P.M., at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Beaverton. Visitation will be held starting at 11:00 until the time of service. He will be laid to rest at Tobacco Township Cemetery.
