Robert “Bob” Dings, 68, of Gladwin, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Mid-Michigan, Medical Center, Gladwin. He was born on July 10, 1950, the son of Theodore & Ellen (Theuer) Dings in Detroit, Michigan. He married Margaret Shears in Pontiac, Michigan. They were married 42 wonderful years. He was employed as a tool & die maker for DURA until his retirement. Bob was a simple man, but one of his favorite hobbies was wrenching in his garage, and his enjoyment of classic vehicles. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 42 years: Margaret Dings of Gladwin; daughter: Deana (Cory) Fox of Coleman; son: Robert T.C. Dings of Beaverton. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren: Austin, Ethan, Taylor, Christen (Nick); adorable great grandchildren whom he admired; sister: Elizabeth Harrison; several nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother: Timothy. Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor Jerry Wells on Saturday, December 29, 2018, 1:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Beaverton, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018, from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. He will be laid to rest at Arbutus Cemetery, Beaverton, Michigan.
