Robert M. Brunette

Robert M. Brunette, 93, of Gladwin, Michigan passed away at Mid Michigan Medical Center in Midland, Michigan on Friday, September 22, 2017. He was born in Flint, Michigan on April 22, 1924 the son of Pete & Margaret (Stephenson) Brunette. On April 4, 1971 he was united in marriage to Norma Potter in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Robert was employed with GM Buick Motor Division in Flint until his retirement in 1980. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving his country during World War II,  and he was a member of V.F.W. 6985. He had lived in Gladwin County since 2008, previously residing in Pinconning and East Jordan. He was a loving and devoted father who adored his children and loved spoiling his grandchildren and also enjoyed hunting and fishing. His memory will be forever cherished by his loving wife of 46 years, Norma Brunette of Gladwin; daughter: Sue (Mike) Koebke of Flint; son: Thomas Brunette of Flushing; daughter: Linda (Max) Kleinfeld of Birch Run. He was blessed with 7 beautiful grandchildren: Todd (Wendy) Koebke of Oregon; Jennie Rosencrants of Flushing; Brett (Heather) Brunette of Troy; Andrea Kleinfeld of Bay City; Trina (Eric) Lerch of Traverse City; Corey (fiance’ Ronda) Kleinfeld of Bay City; Amy Brunette of Grand Blanc;  8 precious great grandchildren: Kody, Kendall, Brendan, Lilly, Tatem, Mya, Blake and Roman. He will be dearly missed by his sister: Betty (Ted) Bennett of Argentine. He is preceded in death by his son: Tommy; parents; sister: Elaine Brown; brother: Don Brunette.
