Robert “Bob” Brasseur, 79, of Gladwin, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023. He was born on July 1, 1943, the son of Irwin and Gladys (Moser) Brasseur in Saginaw. He graduated from Saginaw High and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. On July 13, 1968, he was united in marriage to Emma Lou Brokoff in Gladwin. Bob worked as a lead linesman for Consumer's Energy until his retirement in 1999.
Bob’s favorite times were made driving his Ford truck socializing on his trips around the “farm” and the Wiggins Lake neighborhoods. If someone needed help he was there to lend a hand, give a tow, or plow them out. Bob took pride in his lawn and the home that he helped build. He loved hunting and fishing but mostly enjoyed watching the deer in his yard.
Bob was a member of the Utility Workers Union of America – AFL-CIO, Gladwin Eagles 3293, VFW Post 3775, and a devoted member of Our Savior Lutheran Church.
