Richard Lee Wyatt, 71, of Gladwin, Michigan passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 in Saginaw, Michigan. He was born in Battle Creek, Michigan on June 9, 1947 the son of Clare & Beverly (Cheeseman) Wyatt. On August 17, 1991 he married Jennifer S. Olson in St. Joseph, Illinois. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving his country during the Vietnam Era. He worked for Westin Automotive and Pheasants Forever as a Sales Manager until his retirement. He had lived in Gladwin County since 2015, previously residing in Fairmount, Illinois. He loved sports, hunting and his dogs. Richard began raising English Setters in 1973, later breeding and field trialing them from 1995. He owned Heartland English Setters and was President of Lake States Field Trial Club. He also trained and showed Arabian Horses throughout the Midwest. His memory will be cherished by his loving wife of 27 years; Jennifer Wyatt of Gladwin; daughters: Kristin Wyatt of Illinois; Carmin Frith; step daughter: Crystal (Tanya) Palmer; grandchildren: Demarius, Keddrick, Israel; step grandchildren: Rylen, Brody, Addison, Brycen and Jace; brother: Gary M. Wyatt. He is preceded in death by his parents. Honoring the wishes of the family, cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2018, 2:00 P.M. at the Gladwin Game Reserve Refuge, Alibi Hall.
