Richard J. Markva Sr.

In loving memory of Richard J. Markva Sr., age 67, who passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, September 11, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was born on December 3, 1949 in Saginaw, Michigan and married the love of his life, Deanna Jean Eaton on July 22, 1969. He worked at Great Lakes Power Lift in Bridgeport and he enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with his family and his dog, Molly. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Deanna J. Markva; his grandson and best friend: Matthew T. Markva Jr.; 5 children: Richard Markva Jr. of Gladwin; Bryan (Trieste) Markva of Washington; Matthew Markva Sr. of Beaverton; Donna DeMarre of Ohio; Ann Savage of Saginaw; 3 brothers: Steven Markva, Bob Markva and Bud McFadden all of Beaverton; 4 sisters: Barb Martinez of Arizona; Connie Czeiszberger of Saginaw; Sherry Johnson of Saginaw; Kathy Vance of Saginaw. He was blessed with 16 wonderful grandchildren and 9 precious great grandchildren whom he loved very much. He is preceded in death by his parents: Doris & Wilbur McFadden. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place and Memorial Services may be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan.
