Richard "Dick" Nelson Davis

Richard “Dick” N. Davis, 66, of Beaverton, Michigan, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Friday, October 13, 2017. He was born on June 7, 1951, the son of Clarence N. & Ada R. (Burgess) Davis in Gladwin, Michigan. On August 14, 1981, he was united in marriage to Velva Gee in Howell, Michigan. He was employed as a land surveyor for many years until his retirement. He was an outdoor enthusiast and he loved spending time with his family. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 36 years: Velva Davis of Beaverton; sons: Michael (Jessica) Davis of Houghton Lake, Michigan; Bryan (Stacey) Davis of Midland; daughter: Afton Davis; grandchildren: Tanis; Lyllian & Isabel; sister: Judy Kay (Art) Chastain. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother: William Davis. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017, 2:00 P.M. at the Meridian Church of God, 2130 N.
