Richard "Dick" DeVenny, of Gladwin, formerly of Beaverton, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023. He was born on May 31, 1942, the son of George and Pearl (Suter) DeVenny in Gladwin. He married Sandra Pleasants and shared a lifetime of memories. He was employed for Brown Machine as a service representative for 36 years until his retirement. He traveled the world for his job and enjoyed every trip. He was a private pilot for many years and enjoyed the thrill of racing motorcycles. If he wanted to do something, he did it, with the encouragement of his family he was always looking for his next adventure.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife: Sandy DeVenny; children: Patty (Martin) Vondrasek and Tehea Minke; grandchildren: Jacob (Ashley) Vondrasek, Deven Minke, and Drew Minke; great grandchildren: Ruston and Harland; brother-in-law: Jim (Marilyn) Pleasants; along with numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.
