Phyllis (Sally Groendal) Moran

Phyllis J. Moran (Sally Groendal), 85, of Alger, Michigan passed away at West Branch Regional Medical Center in West Branch, Michigan on Friday, January 12, 2018. She was born in Ottawa, Ohio on September 25, 1932 the daughter of Virgil & Bertha (Wilson) Moran. She had lived in Gladwin County for the last 43 years and was employed as a Special Representative for Bonnie Bell Cosmetic’s, lecturing in schools and colleges. She was also owner/operator of My Gal Sal’s Ice Cream Shop located on M-30 and she worked for several years at the Wildwood Store in Wildwood Shores. Left to cherish her memory is her half-brother: Edward Mulder of Hudsonville, MI; uncle: Edward Moran of Adrian, MI; niece: Christy Jo (Tom) Nessner of Zeeland, MI; nephew: Mark Mulder of Holland, MI; cousin:  Pat and Tim Moran of Adrian, MI. Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place and Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018, 2:00 P.M. with visitation beginning at 1:30 P.M. at the Trinity Episcopal Church, 100 E.
