Pauline J. Blades

Pauline Joyce Blades, 89, of Beaverton, Michigan was called home on Tuesday, September 25, 2018. She was born in Midland, Michigan on January 15, 1929 the daughter of John & Grace Crowell. On October 12, 1951, she was united in marriage to Shirley Blades in Beaverton. She was a lifetime resident of Gladwin County and attended Beaverton Church of the Nazarene for over 40 years, and also taught Sunday School there as well. She enjoyed being outdoors planting flowers and loved long walks. Her memory will be forever cherished by her loving husband of nearly 67 years, Shirley Blades of Beaverton; 2 daughters: Janet Blades of Beaverton; Kimberly Smith of Beaverton. Her children blessed her with 5 beautiful grandchildren; 9 wonderful great grandchildren and she has 1 precious great-great grandchild on the way. She will be dearly missed by her brother: Michael (Sherry) Crowell of Beaverton and several nieces & nephews. Waiting for her in her Heavenly home is her parents; sister: Irene Boyer and 2 grandchildren: Richard Long and Stephanie Smith. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, September 29, 2018, 2:00 P.M., with visitation beginning at 12:00 noon at Beaverton Church of the Nazarene, Beaverton, Michigan.
