Patrick “Pete” Boruszewski, age 85, of Gladwin, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025. He was born on March 17, 1939, the son of John and Sophie (Horzelski) Boruszewski, in Saginaw. On May 15, 1958, Pat married the love of his life, Barbara Nowak, and together they shared 66 years of love and cherished memories.
Pat was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving his country with honor and dedication. After his military service, he worked as a sheet metal worker until his retirement. In his younger years, he loved spending time fishing, finding peace on the water, and woodworking. As time went on, he found joy in golfing, and playing pool. He was a member of the Secord Lake Eagles Club Aerie 4121, where he enjoyed the camaraderie of friends and fellow members.
He is survived by his beloved wife: Barbara; daughters: Tammy (Steve) Henry, Tina (John) Fila, and Terri (Rick Lyons) Stark; son: Phillip (AnnMarie) Boruszewski; 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; brother: Robert “Bob” Boruszewski; along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Jack, Jim, Joe, and Marge.
Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 3:00 P.M. at the Secord Lake Eagles, in Gladwin.
