Pastor Kim H. Lewis

Pastor Kim H. Lewis, 65, of Beaverton, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2019. He was born on November 26, 1953, the son of Rev. Warren & Jane Lewis in Marion, Indiana. On May 31, 1975, he was united in marriage to Patricia Joy Kowalski in Jamestown, New York. Kim was always learning, having attended and graduating from Clarks Summit University in Pennsylvania, University of Liverpool in United Kingdom & Trinity College of Bible & Theological Seminary in Newburgh, Indiana. He pastored several churches in Humphrey, New York, Binghamton, New York, Jenison, Michigan & Bay City, Michigan. He has spent the past 8 years Pastoring at Beaverton Baptist located at 2888 Dale Road & also as a Chaplain for Heartland Hospice for 21 years. In his spare time Kim enjoyed fishing, hunting, reading, roasting & brewing good coffee!

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 44 years: Patricia Lewis of Beaverton; children: Nathan (Kerstin) Lewis of Saline & Aaron (Breyona) Lewis of Plymouth. His children blessed him with 5 wonderful grandchildren whom he loved dearly. He is also survived by his sister: Amy (Phil) of Tampa, Florida & brother: Van (Cheryl) of Woodstock, Georgia. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, October 16, 2019, 1:00 P.M. at Beaverton Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Heartland Hospice or Beaverton Baptist Church.
