Ona Budd, 81, of Clare formerly of Beaverton, began her eternal life on Monday morning, December 21, 2020 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center in Clare. She was born January 23, 1939, the daughter of John Sr and Etta-Mae (Carpenter) Pardee at the family’s home in Merritt Michigan. Ona was one of seven children. She was united in marriage to the love of her life Ira Budd in 1955. They shared over 30 years together. Ona retired from Vercons Factory in Coleman Michigan in the mid 90’s.
Ona was proceeding in death by both of her parents, John and Etta-Mae, her husband Ira, her sister Annie, son Craig and son John.
Left to cherish her memory her sisters, Ada Langerak of Florida and Lou (Jack) Gerring of Florida, her brother’s, John (Gladys) Pardee of Lake, Chuck Pardee of Cadillac, her sons Ira (Martha) Budd of Beaverton, Steven (Rhonda) Budd of Beaverton, Kim (Sue) Budd of Mt. Pleasant, Kevin (Sandy) Budd of Beaverton. Many, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Ona loved spending her time with family, once someone met her, they were family in her eyes. She loved everyone and always made sure that if you stopped by you would never go away hungry. Ona was one of kind, one of the good ones in this crazy world. She always made do with what she had, never complaining about having to little or not enough. She enjoyed garage saling, shopping at the Amish store, collecting elephants and she never met a stray cat that she would not take in.
Visitation for Ona will be Monday December 28, 2020 from 4-8p.m. and her funeral will be Tuesday December 29, 2020 at 11a.m. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Beaverton, MI. Ona will be laid to rest beside her husband at Beaverton City Cemetery. www.hall-kokotovichfuneralhome.com
