Norman Bliesener

Norman Francis Bliesener, 87, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022. He was born on May 23, 1934 in Lansing, the son of Vernon and Elizabeth Bliesener in Lansing. He married Jackie VanPatten in Lansing on August 8, 1953.  Together they shared 68 years of marriage. Norman owned and operated VA Bliesener and sons in Lansing and owned in partnership Chapel in the Pines Funeral Home in Lanisng until his retirement. Norman and Jackie moved to Gladwin in 1995 where they enjoyed their years of retirement making many new friends and enjoying it with family. They would spend the winters in Mohave Valley, Arizona, continuing retirement enjoying the warmer temperatures.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife: Jackie Bliesener; sons: Randy (Christine) Bliesener, and Timothy Bliesener; daughter: LeAnn S. (Randy) Burch; sixteen grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; sister in-laws: Nancy Hannahs and Jody Morris (Bob); and brother in-law: Bill VanPatten (Sue); Dolores Bliesener.

Preceding him in death are his Parents: Vernon and Elizabeth Bliesener; son: Norman F. Jr.; sister: Laverna; brothers: Lyle (Judy), Pat, and Jake (Patty); great grandson: Nathan Jackson; brother-in-law: Darwin Hannahs; and sister-in-law: Penny Ann Baley (Brian).

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022, 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin. The family will receive guests from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Memorial contributions can be made according to Heartland Hospice. www.hall-kokotovichfuneralhome.com
