Norma Ritter

Norma Ritter, age 94, of Beaverton, formerly of Midland, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024. She was born on December 22, 1929, the daughter of Harry and Grace (Gay) Eastman in Midland, MI. On October 2, 1948, Norma married the love of her life, John Ritter. They shared 74 beautiful years together until his passing in 2023.

Norma took great pride in her flower gardens, especially her roses. She was also a devoted member of the Floyd Church of God, which her grandmother had founded. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose presence will be deeply missed. 

Norma is survived by her loving children: Robyn Hickerson and Dan (Etoile) Ritter; grandchildren: Ben Hickerson, Justine Ricolo, and Jeremy (Kristina) Ritter; 3 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Harry and Grace Eastman; husband: John Ritter; her sons: Barry and Tim Ritter; her brothers: Norman, Nile, and Hugh Eastman; and her son-in-law, Aaron Hickerson.

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place, and there are no services planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Floyd Church of God in Midland. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home. www.hallkokotovichfuneralhome.com
