Norma Jean Hall, 86, of Gladwin, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021, at the Horizon Senior Living, Gladwin. She was born on August 30, 1935, the daughter of Finnis and Olivia (Minnerich) Smith in Pueblo, Colorado. She was united in marriage to her husband, Ernie Hall on November 22, 1983 in Gladwin.  Norma served as the Arthur Township Clerk for many years until her retirement. She was very active within her community and loved being involved with the Clare County 4-H program. Norma also loved camping, bowling, and playing cards and dominoes. She was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: George (Valerie) Read of Marshall, Donald (Vicky) Read of Gladwin, Gerald Read of Montrose, Rosemarie (Brian) Farrell of Punta Gorda, FL, Edith (Clark) Almasy of Flint, Jacqueline Read of Midland, and Melissa (Steve) Roth of Zeeland; 22 grandchildren & 26 great-grandchildren; Sister: Barbara (Bill) Tite of Bay City; along with her 5 step-children & their families.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Ernie Hall, sister: Linda Mead, and son: Kenneth Read.
Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor Dave Mead on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, 11:00 A.M. at Grace Christian Church, Gladwin. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 27, 2021, from 4-8:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin. She will be laid to rest at Arthur Twp. Cemetery.
