Nancy J. Ellis, 70, of Sugar Springs, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2020, at her home. She was born on May 1, 1949, the daughter of Richard & Lois Dingle in Detroit. On April 23, 1988, she was united in marriage to Peter Ellis in Rochester Hills. Nancy worked as a para-pro for Rochester Schools. Her hobbies included gardening, golfing, and traveling all over the world. Her greatest love was her family. She was a devoted wife, and adored her children and grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband: Peter Ellis of Sugar Springs; daughter: Kelly (Brent) Morton of Charlotte; sons: Jeff (Lisa) Grunewald of Rochester Hills, Russell (Mel) Ellis of Hook Hampshire, England, Matthew (Brooke) Ellis of Rochester Hills, and Scott (Mandy) Dingle of Cape Coral, Florida. Her children blessed her with 9 grandchildren: Kaeden, Carly, Audrey, Anna, Otto, Anja, Ben, Jackson, and Tyler. She is also survived by her mother in-law: Madeline Ellis of Cerne Abbas, England; brother: Mark Dingle; along with several nieces & nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Terri and Kathie.
