Nancy Brushaber, 75, formerly of Beaverton, passed away on May 1, 2022, in Summerfield, Florida. She was born on September 14, 1946, the daughter of Orland and Ellen (Dando) Poland in Midland. On May 14, 1966, she was united in marriage to her husband Dennis Brushaber in Midland, whom she met at the Beaverton Dairy Bar.
Nancy was a Registered Nurse for many years until her retirement. She worked for Midland Hospital, Mid-Michigan Hospice, and VNA (Visiting Nurses Association) over the course of her career. Her various hobbies included playing cards, convertible rides, reading, dancing and cross stitching. She recently attended Silver Springs Shores Presbyterian Church in Florida, and was a member at Dale United Methodist Church for many years.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 55 years: Dennis Brushaber of Florida; children: Mark (Eleanor) Brushaber of Grand Rapids, Matt (Jennifer) Brushaber of Emmet, and Brad (Amy) Brushaber of Beaverton; grandchildren: Amanda, Sam, Dayle, Tyler, Adrianne (Chris), Brent, Ashleigh, Brenden, Anna (Chandler), and Abby; as well as her sister: Diane Bedford.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral Service will be conducted on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Beaverton. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 9, 2022, from 3-8:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Beaverton.
