Myrna Joan Pritula, 76, of Gladwin, Michigan passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 18, 2018. She was born in Parry Sound, Sudbury, Ontario on January 18, 1942, the daughter of Carl & Mildred (Eden) Southbloom. She was a homemaker, and loved the outdoors, gardening and nature. She was very gifted in the kitchen and enjoyed baking and sharing her goods with all the neighbors. She liked to gamble and enjoyed visiting casinos. Myrna’s memory will be forever remembered by her daughters: Candace (Tim) Purkhiser of Spanaway, Washington; Barb Cochran of Flatrock, Michigan; son: James W. Karr Jr. of Jackson, Michigan. She was blessed with 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She will also be missed by her brother: Gerald (Sandy) Southbloom of Minnesota; sister: Pam (Jim) Mains of Inkster, Michigan and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her husband: William Pritula; parents: Carl & Mildred Southbloom; brother: Roger and his wife Florence Southbloom. Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at a later date.
