Mildred Marie Quider

August 1, 1925 — September 10, 2022

Mildred Marie (Wilcox) Quider was born on August 1, 1925, in Detroit, Michigan to William and Doris (Sandhof) Wilcox.  She was the oldest of three children with her two younger siblings being Virginia Chritz and  Kenneth John Wilcox (deceased).  Mildred attended school in the Detroit area where she met the one and only love of her life, Bartholomew James Quider.  The two of them were married on June 14, 1944, in the Detroit area.    Shortly after, they moved north, where they proceeded to have a quiver full of kids – Shelia Marie (Dean) Boroughf; Linda Ann (Bill) Donley-Groulx; Larry James (Kathi) Quider: Bartholomew William (Cathi) Quider; Catherine Doris Oberloier (Mark Ramer); Christopher John (Robin) Quider; Angela Lyn (Maury) Irwin. These children blessed them with 17 grandchildren – Jimmy, Michael (deceased), Brenda (deceased), Stephanie; Jennifer, Jacqui, Jerry; Tobi, Jason; Brook, Jeff, Amber; Chad, Casey, Carissa; Christina, Billy; these 17 grandchildren, blessed them with 32 great-grandchildren and these 32 great-grandchildren, blessed them with 13 great-great grandchildren.

While Mildred enjoyed many hobbies – reading, jigsaw puzzling, playing Yahtzee with her children – her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren were her life . . .

Then, surrounded by the joyful noise of these generations, Mildred passed into eternity on September 10, 2022, to join her love of 67 years and other family members who passed before her.

In addition to her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, Mildred is survived by her sister, Virginia Chritz and her sister-in-law, Helen Johnson.

Our beautiful Queen has passed – her memory lives on forever!
