Michael W. Mccoy

Michael W. McCoy, 56, of Beaverton, Michigan passed away at his home on March 31, 2018 after a short battle with cancer. He was born in Saginaw, Michigan on December 7, 1961 the son of William and Betty (Steinbauer) McCoy. On August 20, 1993 he was united in marriage to Candance Oomen in Gladwin. He was lifetime resident of Gladwin County and owner/operator of M & M Drywall of Beaverton for 30 years. He was a proud family man and he placed a high regard on taking care of his loved ones. He very much loved spending time with his family and making memories with his children. He had an appreciation for nature and he enjoyed fishing and boating. He was a member of F.O.E. Albright Shores Aerie 3655, Beaverton, Michigan. His memory will be forever cherished by his loving wife of 24 wonderful years, Candace McCoy of Beaverton; son: Dustin (Missy) McCoy of Seattle, Washington; daughter: Jennifer McCoy of Beaverton; son: William (Michelle) McCoy of Beaverton; daughter: Courtney McCoy also of Beaverton. He was blessed with 1 very precious grandson: Samuel McCoy. He will be dearly missed by his father: William (Judy) McCoy of Beaverton; siblings: Debra (Robert) Owens of Beaverton; Terrie (Rick) Zimmerman of Mason; Cheryl Breedlove of Beaverton; Rick (Aileen) McCoy of Beaverton; Melody Strait of Gladwin; sister in-law: Shawn McCoy of Beaverton and several nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother: Betty Steinbauer and 2 brothers: Tim McCoy and David McCoy. Funeral Services will be conducted by Brad Lower on Thursday, April 5, 2018, 11:00 A.M., with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Beaverton, Michigan.
