Melvin J. Bergweiler

Melvin J. Bergweiler, 75, of Standish, Michigan passed away at his residence on Tuesday, January 30, 2018. He was born in Bay City, Michigan on November 28, 1942 the son of Marie (Kennedy) and the late Melvin Bergweiler. Mel was a retired Sergeant Major in the United States Army, proudly serving his country for over 30 years. He is survived by his mother: Marie Bergweiler of Florida; his son: Jeffery Bergweiler of Clarksville, Tennessee. He was blessed with 2 beautiful grandchildren: Jennifer and Nick; and a precious great grandchild soon to arrive. His memory will be forever cherished by his very special friend: Annie Stube of Beaverton. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no services.
