Mary Ann Schoenberg, 88, of Gladwin, MI passed away at Mid-Michigan Medical Center, Gladwin Wednesday, December 22, 2021. She was born November 24, 1933 the daughter of Joseph and Katherine (Buby) Brassinger in Brown City, MI. On May 18, 1957 she was united in marriage to the love of her life Frederick Schoenberg Sr. in Richmond, MI. Together they had 3 children who blessed them with 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. In her spare time Mary enjoyed gardening, cooking, bird watching, listening to polka music and spending as much time with her family and friends as she could.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband: Frederick Sr.; sons Fred Jr. (Sharon) Schoenberg and Steve (Beth) Schoenberg; daughter: Christine (Chris) Wentz; grandchildren: Justin (Krysta) Clemons, Colt Schoenberg, Reid Schoenberg, Brooke Schoenberg, Brandy Wentz, Brandi Vierling, Ryan (Katelyn) Vierling; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Joe and Andy; grandson: Brad Wentz; and niece: Betty Miller.

Funeral Liturgy is going to be conducted Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, MI at 1:00 P.M with a viewing starting at 11:00. The family will be receiving guests Tuesday, December 28, 2021 starting at 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. She will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Brown City, MI. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, MI.
