Mary E. Offenbecker, 89, of Beaverton, Michigan passed away at the Gladwin Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Friday, March 2, 2018. She was born May 9, 1928 in Beaverton, Michigan the daughter of Walter & Isabelle (Trumble) Martin. On October 11, 1943 she was united in marriage to her true love, Paul Offenbecker in Gladwin, Michigan. They celebrated nearly 69 wonderful years together before he predeceased her in 2012. She was a lifetime resident of Gladwin County, and served many years as Billings Township Clerk. Mary also worked at Beaverton I.G.A and Fruchey’s I.G.A. She attended Billings Missionary Church, and was a member of the Gladwin County Ice Carnival. For several years she hosted the Country Music Jamboree. Her memory will be cherished forever by her sons: Walter (Shari) Offenbecker of Beaverton; Paul (Linda) Offenbecker of South Carolina; daughter: Connie (Rick) Snell of Corunna. Her children blessed her with 12 beautiful grandchildren and 30 precious great grandchildren and 29 great-great grandchildren She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; grandson: Jeffrey; sister: Margartet Freier and a brother: John McGrath and a great grand-daughter Brittany Rautanen. Funeral services will take on Tuesday March 6, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home Gladwin, Michigan with Pastor Tyler Liegeb officiating. Family will receive friends on Monday March 5, 2018 from 2-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
