Mary C. Moore

Mary Charlotte Moore, 78, of Beaverton, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2019, at the Horizon Senior Living VI in Gladwin. She was born the daughter of Bernard and Bernadine (DeShone) Colmus in Saginaw. She was united in marriage to her true love Charles Moore in September of 1960 in Saginaw. They were blessed with 59 wonderful years of marriage. She was employed as a LPN for the State of Michigan for over 20 years and also worked for the family business. Mary was an avid collector, enjoyed all living things, and loved spending her retirement at their house on Wixom Lake.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband: Charles Moore, sons: Mike (Sarah) Moore, David (Kris) Moore, daughter: Marilyn (Pat) Carey. Her children blessed her with 6 grandchildren: Brooklynn, Jared (Cynthia), Shawn (Rachel), Brad, James, Andy, and two great grandchildren: Mia and Nolan. She is also survived by four siblings: Robert Colmus, Eugene Colmus, Jacqueline Meinke, Lillian Glency, along with several nieces and nephews.

Mary was the youngest daughter of ten children and was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Benny, Delores, Earl, Alvin, and Danny.

She will be laid to rest at St. Andrews Catholic Cemetery in Saginaw. Memorial contributions may be made according to Hospice Compassus or Horizon Senior Living. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan. www.hall-kokotovichfuneralhome.com
