Marion Jacobs, 88, of Gladwin, MI passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born October 30, 1933 the daughter of Guy and Elma (Garver) Sharp in Gladwin, MI. On October 3, 1953 she was united in marriage to the love of her life Ronald “Rip” Jacobs. Marion was a lifelong resident of Gladwin County spending her time as a beloved mother, worked at Bell Telephone until finding her love of farming. She was also an avid Mary Kay consultant. In her spare time she was an active volunteer at the Gladwin Hospital and the Mission. Marion loved to spend time with her friends at her home in Florida.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons: Mike (Marsha) Jacobs of Gladwin, Neal (Tina) Jacobs of Sanford, Ed (Joyce) Jacobs of Gladwin; daughter-in-law: Val Jacobs of Gladwin; grandchildren: Forest, Hunter, Rachel, Chris, Tom, Nichole, Alan, Ryan, Dan, Alexis, Jayven and Jeff; along with several great-grandchildren. Brother: Guy (Linda) Sharp Jr.; sister: Virgie Perry; brother-in-law: John Walkley;; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Ronald “Rip” Jacobs in 2011; parents: Guy and Elma; and son: Greg Jacobs and sister: Suzanne Walkley.
Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, MI.
