Marian Nash

Marian Nash, 94, of Gladwin, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, April 6, 2023. She was born on February 14, 1929, the daughter of Hazen and Bernice (Laidley) Greer in Gladwin. On June 19, 1948, she was united in marriage to Eldon "Curly" Nash in Gladwin. He preceded her in death in 2007. She loved to go on car rides, picnics, and going for ice cream. She was meticulous on her garden, watching flowers thrive and plants grow. She also enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers. She taught Sunday School for many years at Gladwin Baptist Church and was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: William (Mari) Nash, Deborah (Michael) Perkins, Julie (Jerry) French, and Todd (Sherry) Nash; grandchildren: Lori Drahiem, Raymond Hartwell, Lindsay Perkins, Jeremy Dicken, Justin French, Jordan French, Jacob French, Janelle Brewer, Kayla Jance, Kyle Nash, Kristopher Nash, Heather Nash, Robby Bausick and Grace Bausick; and many great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings: Lois Presidio, Beverly Fisher, Betty Stone, Jon (Phyllis) Greer, and Ruth Catlett; along with many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson: Lance Perkins; and several brothers and sisters.

Memorial Services will be held on Monday, April 17, 2023, 11:00 A.M. at the Emmanuel Baptist Church, Gladwin. Visitation will be held from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made according to the Emmanuel Baptist Church or council on aging.
